New York City is home to a surprising diversity of wildlife.
According to a recent article from the New York Times, NYC is one of the greenest cities on the planet, with a decades-long effort to restore our parks paying off with wildlife populations that are on the rise. City residents can help further expand the reach of these creatures by planting natives gardens in their yards and on their balconies. The USDA estimates that urban areas take up 70 million acres of land in this country, and a lot of that space could become hospitable to birds and pollinators if we make the right design choices.
Our habitat assessment service is designed to help you understand how your outdoor space is currently supporting wildlife, and how we can make it better. We will do a thorough inventory of your site’s ecological services, and provide you with a report featuring clear and actionable steps you can take to make your yard a wildlife haven.

Video consultations last 45 minutes and are conducted over FaceTime, Google Meet, Skype or Whatsapp
After meeting, we will provide you a written report including a summary of our meeting, as well as further advice and resources to help you move forward with your project.
in person
$375+
In person consultations allow us to take a deeper dive on the topics you’d like to discuss, as well as give you a more detailed site analysis. We’ll take as much time as we need to walk through your space together, talking about your vision and needs.
Discount services
We are committed to making our services available to everyone. Beautiful gardens shouldn’t be a luxury! If you are interested (individually, or if you represent a nonprofit or community group) in a consultation but the cost is prohibitive, please contact us about reduced rates.
